Scotophilus heathi
The adult body weight ranges between 36.0 to 39.0 grams. It is a large bat. The adult specimen has brown fur on the dorsal surface and bright yellow fur on the ventral surface of the body. This species usually roosts under the tiles of roofs of houses and occurs in small groups of 5 to 15 specimens which lie huddled together. The animals emerge from their roosts a little before sunset and visit the roosts several times during the night; they finally return to the roosts a little before sunrise.
